A very big welcome to the 'Robert James Interiors' website in our 30TH YEAR!

Established in 1988, we began selling furniture from the exact same premises that we are in today at 2 Warwick Road in Wolston Village near to Coventry and Rugby. Originaly named 'Yesterdays of Wolston' retailing reproduction furniture from some of the best brands in their field.

One of our biggest successes was being a leading retailer of the Old Charm brand where we held twice yearly outside exhibitions and regular Coach trips to the Old Charm factory in Ware, Hertfordshire eventually becoming the largest retailer for this brand in the Midlands.

 The Managing Director.

Since 1988 Robert 'James' Lightfoot has been leading his team, along with wife Trish, and has seen many changes along the way including the name change in 2008. The reason for the name change to 'Robert James Interiors' was because the store started to sell more contemporary furniture. In the 25 years a being in business possibly the biggest change in retailing has been the internet and the choice of furniture now available today.

Before entering the world of furniture, Robert came from a back groung of engineering, being a fully qualified toolmaker and a brief career in Speedway racing.

 Delivery that’s FREE

We believe that when you purchase of large piece of furniture, you should expect it to be delivered to you FREE of any charge, unlike many of our local competitors we do deliver FREE up to 40 miles away from the store and even further if the size of the order permits. We would ask how can it be right to expect a customer to deliver there own sofa, surely this is just a hidden extra and a deceitful way of making a ticket price look cheaper than other stores selling similar goods that offer FREE delivery.

At Robert James Interiors you will get a good quality service and honesty in our pricing, staff that know what they are selling and can help you decide what’s right for you, then when its time to deliver it will be made by courteous staff who will take away your old furniture if required and any packaging too.
